DESCRIPTION:COURSE OVERVIEW\n\nThis course provides students with knowledge of the principles of risk\nassessment and the skills required to identify hazards, assess risks\nand identify control and monitoring measures for risks in a given\nworkplace.\n\n \n\nCOURSE STRUCTURE\n\nThis course consists of online learning modules that you work through\nat your own pace. At the very end of the course there are summative\nassessment tasks. \n\n \n\nAfter you contact Wood Training, we will send you a confirmation email\nwith a link to the course and a self-enrolment key.  You will be\nprompted in the system to set up a profile, with information that we\nneed for your enrolment.\n\n \n\nLEARNING OUTCOMES\n\nAt the end of this course students will be able to:\n\n 	* Describe the principles of health and safety risk assessment.\n 	* Apply health and safety risk assessment to a job role in\naccordance with regulatory requirements and industry good practice.\n\n \n\nCERTIFICATION\n\nAfter successful completion of the online course you will be issued\nwith an electronic badge.  Before we can issue you with a formal\nHealth and Safety Risk Assessment Certificate, you will need to\ncontact Wood Training with proof of identity.\n\n \n\nREVALIDATION/REFRESHER\n\nTo maintain current competency, it is recommended that refresher\ntraining occurs regularly.  Depending on the industry you work in\nthis may vary. Current Wood Training recommendation is every two\nyears.\n\n \n\nTHINGS YOU NEED \n\n 	* Access to a computer and stable internet.\n 	* An email address.\n\n \n\n \n\nELIGIBILITY\n\nStudents eligible to study with Wood Training are:\n\n 	* Permanent Residents,\n 	* Australian Citizens, or\n 	* Holders of work-visas who are required to undertake training by\ntheir employer.\n\nProof of eligibility is required.
